Aww, I'm so sorry about how you're feeling. It's a terrible feeling but I have no advice on what to do. However, you said you don't know how to get your poetry published so I did a bit of research. Well, actually, I just googled 'poetry publishers' and this seemed like a good site: http://www.poetrysociety.org/psa-links.php I'm not sure if it is a good site or not but it has a list of publishers. I hope it is. Good luck. *hugs*

I will start by saying your writing is always beautiful...it's always full of life..even though you may feel dead inside. I hope things get better....because they always do. Sometimes we just have to look beyond what's in front of us...and think about what will come to be if we work hard enough.

That kind of makes me want to write--I love it. Maybe I'll take your ideas in this piece and reconstruct them into something of my own? I'll let you know If I do, and I'll either post it as a comment here or as an entry in my diary.

I love having people respond to what I've written--and I'm glad you found my poem to be enjoyful and not presumptuous (I wasn't trying to one-up you). As to it being "better", nah. It's just a different style with the same kind of idea behind it...though you're right; they do go hand-in-hand well. I really find your rhyme scheme and beats to be very flowy...a pleasure to read.

I'm glad you'll be reading more, and I'll try to read more of yours when you post it. Again, you're talented. :-)

Major heart hugs! I'm so very, very sorry that you had to go through that....My heart aches for you!

  I think that you are so VERY BRAVE to face this head on...and to want to walk through the flames to true healing. It's a hard and painful path...But well with the journey.

   I  had a different kind of trauma happen to me when I was 17...It would tkae years before I could write about it...I'd have panic attacks each time that I tried to write or talk about it.  So I have a small clue how hard this is for you.

  You did a beautiful job!

Thank you for your comment...this is a great piece, especially towards the ending.  I wouldnt worry about whether or not he likes it though, true poetry is an outpouring of the soul, and be it shakespeare or elementary, to give someone such a gift is a great thing in itself. :)

Yeah, I have a bit of a problem with inferiority complex, too...that's never good.  It's really nice to know that there are others out there willing to help and support you even if they don't know you in person.  It means a lot to me.  You don't have to be the same age and live in the same area in order to know how others are suffering.  It's really sweet to know that you have that support no matter what.

I know how you feel with the whole bottling it up thing. I have this tiny inferiority complex. You were right about the diary thing, though, especially this site, as it means there are people out there trying to help you. Like me for example. And I'm living in England and oly 13 years old. Face it, kids are SMART.
